Dear Encountered Families,

Hello from Rockford/Madison/Milwaukee families! We just returned from our annual family campout. We really enjoy camping with our WWME family. Being surrounded by our encountered families is always a cozy and peaceful weekend with no worries.

This year we camped at Hickory Hills Campground in Edgerton, WI. We weathered some late night thunderstorms but that didn't put a damper on the fun times we had. Our Farkle tournament was a nail biter but by the end of Saturday afternoon we had our champions - Steve & Juli Smith!

We all wore our WWME t-shirts when we attended mass in nearby Edgerton and spent some time talking with the pastor about WWME and our campout. For our evening meal we gathered as a community for a potluck dinner and later songs and smores by the community campfire. The kids had a great time getting to know each other and renewing friendships from the last year. They held their own equally exciting Farkle tournament and really enjoyed each other with board games and songs around the campfire.
