Hi Friends,
We are in such astonishment of the dedication of the couples in
our Area. It was like our entire Area was transformed January 1st!!
We just had to share our pride with all of you!! We feel like our
child is bringing home straight A’s after struggling with
C’s!!! You would not believe what our Area already has planned
for February.
We currently have 29 couples registered for our March 4-6 weekend
on top of all of this!!!
Hope this is motivating!

2005 Accomplishments
North/Central Alabama Worldwide Marriage Encounter
January:
· Conducted a total of 10 Witness talks
at 4 different Parishes. Contacted a total of 6
Parishes to schedule Witness talks.
· Sent a Love Circle survey to all circles.
· Sent two letters to the Bishop.
· Sent World Marriage Day information to Diocesan newspaper.
· Sent an introduction package to all Priests (active &
retired) that included a letter from the new AC’s, World Marriage
Day package with sample homilies, ME magnet with 2005 weekend dates,
2 couple brochures, 1 priest brochure, and a ME poster.
· Sent an introduction package to other Apostolates (i.e.
Catholic Family Services, etc.) that included a letter from the
new AC’s, ME poster, couple brochures, ME magnet with 2005
dates, and a ME window cling.
· Contacted 30 pending registrations.
· Conducted first Inviting Committee Meeting.
· Filled the Prayer Scroll Coordinators ministry.
· Filled the Newsletter Coordinators ministry.
· Sent January Newsletter to all Community.
· Conducted quarterly Area Board Meeting.
· Mailed and faxed bulletin announcements to each parish
in the diocese for March weekend.
· Obtained updated Diocesan directory and Priest listing
from Bishop Secretary.
February:
- Celebrated World Marriage Day at St. Joseph's in Florence(other
local churches also celebrated)
- Conducted a total of 2 Witness talks at 1 Parish
- Developed a new Love Circle Leaders Handbook and presentation
guide. Distributed to all 6 love circle leaders. Provided a ME -
"Weekend Away" gift basket for auction at 1 Parish.
- Conducted Pre-weekend Team Meeting
- AC's attended Section Board Meeting
- One Team Couple completed all 1st Set
- Established a new Love Circle Contact Couple for one LC
- Made final preparations for March 4-6 weekend
