Prayer for Inviting

Lord Jesus, we have heard your Gospel mandate: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." (Mt 7:7-8)

Humbly we remember being asked and we have opened our hearts to You as encountered couples and priests seeking to transform the world. We want to invite other couples and priests on a Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend. Teach us to be patient with You, Lord Jesus, to persevere and to be converted with others in Your name. We trust your Holy Spirit to inspire our words of invitation. Make us faithful and grateful for our memories and for our dialogues. Inspire others to receive the gift of the Weekend, to come to listen and feel, to write and to share, and above all to be renewed as encountered couples and priests. Thus we will meet and see You daily as our Risen Lord and more of Your friends will say again ‘Yes’ to each other and to You. We make this prayer through You, loving and caring God!

Fr. Francois Pellissier

Fr. Francois Pellissier is an order priest of the Glenmary Home Missionaries. He was ordained on May 23, 1981. He made his Weekend in November 2004. He is serving with Mark & Mel Fusani as Area Leaders for Cincinnati/Dayton/North & Central KY.
