Quinns Join eMatrimony Staff, Bakers Become Managing Editors

Ralph & Jane Becker

Matt & Gail Quinn have said “yes” to becoming eMatrimony’s editor couple for the English-speaking side of our web site! We are excited to have them on the staff and look forward to serving with them.

Matt & Gail Quinn were married August 26, 1983. They began their Encounter journey in March, 1992 in Cromwell, CT. They currently live in Littleton, CO with their three sons, Matthew 21, Andrew, 18 and Thomas, 16 and any number of other teenagers on any given evening. The Quinns have served Marriage Encounter in various roles in communities in Connecticut, Chicago, and most recently Denver. Before taking on this role, Matt & Gail were honored to serve as a Cadre couple, training Weekend presenters for the National Encounter family.

Jack & Karen Baker have agreed to take on the newly-created role of Managing Editor of eMatrimony. In this job, they will oversee the operation of the whole web site, and coordinate communication between the English- and Spanish-speaking sides. They will also continue to collect and deliver content for the site.

The Bakers were married in Omaha, Nebraska on November 8, 1969. They made their Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend in August, 1978 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Jack & Karen have two adult children, Janet and Patrick, and they live in Bellevue, Washington. The Bakers have been involved in WWME while living in Nebraska, South Dakota, Colorado, Texas, and Washington. Their involvements have included Community coordinators in Pierre, South Dakota, Section Coordinators of Section 13, and US Secretariat Staff Community Pillar coordinators. They currently also serve as Local Area Executive couple for the Seattle Area. They have been content editors of eMatrimony since its creation in 2003, and prior to that worked on the staff of Matrimony Magazine.
