Dear Worldwide Marriage
Encounter Family,
Welcome to eMatrimony,
a format to help you both keep in touch with each other in our Worldwide
Marriage Encounter Family, and a valuable resource for information.
It is our intent to update the site at least once each week with
new information. You can help us reach this goal
by sending articles, love letters and news to
.
eMatrimony
will be organized using the following major headings:
Home:
Your starting point. Our logo and banner are across the top,
and the main menu is on the left. The body of the home page
is our "What's New" section, where you will find links
to several of our latest articles and resources.
News:
to include Section (and local), National, International and Convention
sub-headings. Send us news about events in your Section and local
areas. Picnics, campouts, enrichments, conventions, parties and
other ways your communities stay active and supportive of our Worldwide
Marriage Encounter values. Tell us how you welcome couples, priests
and religious off their Weekend and into your community.
Love
Letters: send us your suggestions, comments and concerns
for eMatrimony.
This is similar to “letters to the editor” of a newspaper
or magazine. We also hope to publish and store letters from leadership
teams from our National, Section and Local leaders. We will also
invite leaders from the other six Secretariats of the World Council
to send us love letters. This is also where we will publish letters
we (the editors and webmasters) write to you, our readers.
Resources:
will include outlines for presentations, how to order Worldwide
Marriage Encounter materials for World Marriage, Day and World Priest
Day as well as personal items like jewelry, window and candle stickers,
clothing and bags with the Worldwide Marriage Encounter insignia.
Dialogue:
will include resources for questions and suggestions for how to
capture your feelings in your loveletter and improve your verbal
dialogues.
Inviting:
will provide a resource for Pulpit talk outlines, suggestions for
how to organize and present a romantic dinner, and other suggestions
for how to invite others to make a Weekend.
Prayer:
a place to ask for the families prayers for your needs and a place
to offer praise to God for your blessings. A resource for prayers
for different occasions such as Worldwide Marriage Encounter gatherings.
Family:
seasonal activities for you and your children. Fun things to plan
with your children and other families. Maybe even a photo album
for fun activities where Worldwide Marriage Encounter families have
supported each other in family events.
Priest
& Religious Corner: a place to send letters of
support and appreciation for the priests and religious who offer
so much to our Worldwide Marriage Encounter family. Recommendations
for World Priest Day and your stories about how you support and
encourage the priest and religious in your area. We also encourage
priests and religious to send their articles for our readers to
hear about what Worldwide Marriage Encounter means to them.
Links:
Links to other Worldwide Marriage Encounter sites. We will include
some links to other sites but we cannot accept responsibility for
the content of those sites.
