Invitation to Pray the Rosary heard in Australia

Kevin & Kerry Townsend

Dear Editors,

We, together with Fr Bob Carden, are the Unit Co-Ordinators, for Marriage Encounter in Western Australia.

After reading the article on eMatrimony of Jose & Marilyn Garcia and Fr Len Stegman issuing an invitation to all to pray the Rosary for the Blessed Mother to continue to bless WWME I was inspired to include this in our next local newsletter.

Before doing so, I would like to clarify a few areas:
(a) Are we at liberty to print some or all of the letter on eMatrimony in our newsletter?
(b) As 6.30pm is a bad time in our household, and I am sure many others, could we nominate another time for our Community to set aside time to pray (Say 8.00pm Wednesday evenings)?

Even if only a few people take up the challenge I am sure there could be a marked impact from our prayers.

Since we received the "Build It and They Will Come" from Lee & Jan Kremer at our National Meeting last September, in Cairns, Queensland, Australia we have been really inspired by what it has to offer in different areas.

We have been advertising M.E. heavily, concentrating on advertising in School Newsletters and Parish Bulletins as well as Pulpit Talks, where possible and it appears this extra exposure is paying off. We have our first weekend for the year on 26-28 March and have at this stage 17 couples booked on. We can take a total of 20 at the venue. Please keep us in your prayers.

Thanks for all your effort you put into eMatrimony. It is a pleasure to continually visit the site. Even rereading articles many times over, we still are inspired by them.

Love & God Bless
Kerry and Kevin

Dear Kerry & Kevin,
(a) You are at liberty to reprint and use the article as requested. For clarification see our copyright notice.
(b) I was once told God is timeless. I assume this is correct and will also assume the Blessed Mother has the same quality. Saying the Rosary at any time of the day or night is welcomed and encouraged.

May God see fit to fill your 26-28 March Weekend and may that Weekend blossom new life into your Community.

As always we look forward to receiving articles from you that we might post on eMatrimony. Please send us news of your Community.

Love & Prayers,
Jack & Karen Baker
