2005 National Convention Bulletin Announcement
John & Ann Geer
Dear WWME Family:
Registrations for the WWME
Convention 2005 continue to be made through the online and paper
process and we greatly appreciate your efforts to publicize the
Convention and its theme of "In God We Trust".

Please continue your efforts to spread the good news of the Convention
as broadly as possible. We want this convention to follow in the
tradition of Atlanta and DeKalb and be life renewing to the sacraments
who attend -- and we want to maximize the number of people touched
by the great presentations, the opportunity to meet and greet old
friends, and to be enriched.
A couple of reminders;
- the price for registration (for both the Convention and Priest
Day) increases on March 16th by $10 a couple and $5.00 a priest/widow(er);
- the Children's Convention will be limited to 300 children --
so early registration is encouraged.
Father Doug Reed, the ecclesial priest for Section Four, suggested
that access to parish bulletins be used to spread the good news
of the Convention, and drafted the following possible insert.
We ask that you send the bulletin announcement to your parish with
the request that they publish the announcement in your parish bulletin
(and also to ensure that all active members of your local community
are advised of the Convention):
The Worldwide Marriage Encounter community
joyfully announces a Family Convention to be held at Towson University
- near Baltimore, Maryland - July 8 - 10, 2005. The Convention
will include a separate program on Saturday for children. Our
theme is “In God We Trust” and our goal is to continue
our journey of renewal, first of God’s people and then,
through them, of God’s church. Ultimately, our dream is
to change the world one relationship at a time. The Convention
will be presented in English, Korean and Spanish. To register:
Please go to http://convention.wwme.org/
and choose between the online and the paper registration process.
The Convention Weekend will be preceded by a Priest Day program
on Friday July 8th. Reduced registration fees are in effect through
March 15th.
Thanks for your assistance in making this Convention exceptionally
well attended -- the Convention Committee is doing its best to make
it the best Convention ever.
Love,
John & Ann Geer
