Bishop Eusebio Elizondo

Fr. Eusebio Elizondo was one of the first bishops appointed by
Pope
Benedict XVI and was ordained Auxiliary Bishop in the Archdiocese
of Seattle on June 6, 2005.
Fr. Eusebio Elizondo
Fr. Eusebio Elizondo was born in Victoria, Mexico
in 1954 and ordained a priest of the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit
in 1984. Fr. Eusebio received a canon law degree from the Gregorian
University in Rome. Fr. Eusebio made his Worldwide Marriage
Encounter Weekend in 1989 and served in leadership in Section 14
before he was transferred to be the pastor of Saint Elizabeth Ann
Seton, a parish in Bothell,
Washington
(north of Seattle)
in August of 2000. While living in Seattle, Fr. Eusebio continued
to serve WWME on the Community Pillar Staff of the National Secretariat
and was a great assistance in reviewing the Spanish translations
of the WWME calendars in 2002 and 2003.
