To our dear WWME family,

It is with hearts full of gratitude, humility, and hope that we write to you today. Over the past few weeks, we have had an opportunity to experience some of the worst devastation we will ever know - with the complete flooding of our home and the homes of all our immediate family members and many of our friends. We are now calling it an "opportunity" because it is through this experience that we have been blessed with the unbelievable compassion, generosity, and wisdom of our Marriage Encounter community.

Over the past few weeks, so many of you have reached out to us with your prayers, your homes, your "wallets", and your hearts. You have met all of our needs, from furniture to clothes to toys for our children. You have talked with us, cried with us, and celebrated with us. "Celebrations" these days come from things such as getting phone service at our rental house after three weeks, finally getting the name of the insurance adjuster who is assigned to our home, receiving our mail at the post office after standing in line for hours, and having our child's Catholic school open from 1-6pm.

Before the storm, we took so many things for granted and now we are in a much better position to evaluate what is really important. And all of you are very important to us!

We thank you for your continued prayers and support. It is because of you that we really believe that THERE IS A NEW WORLD SOMEWHERE---- AND WE ARE GOING TO HAVE IT START RIGHT HERE IN SLIDELL!!!
