A Very Special Home Mass

Hi Lovers,

We had a treat in our area when WWME International Coordinating Team Priest Father John Rate arrived early in the US for a World Council Meeting.

Father John presented the May 5-7 WWME weekend in Rockford, IL and then spent time with area community couples. The highlight for us was celebrating mass with Father John on our backyard deck with our children as altar servers.

After mass we enjoyed a wonderful potluck dinner. It was a once in a lifetime event for our house and we are grateful to Father John for making the effort to be with us.

Next, Father John headed to the St. Louis area for a visit with community couples there.
