| News - International Retired Bishop and WWME Supporter in the Solomon Islands Expires Bob & Joy Hernandez and Msgr. Chuck Kosanke Dearest WWME Family, We recently received very sad news from our International Coordinating Team (ICT) David & Bronny Lea and Fr. John Rate. Bishop Gerry Loft, who was the inspiration and driving force for planting & sustaining WWME in the Solomon Islands in the Pacific Secretariat, died suddenly on Sunday night. Bishop Gerry retired to his homeland of New Zealand about three years ago and was on the very first day of his latest assignment, parish priest of a small town parish in northern New Zealand when he just collapsed and died. Please pray for the repose of the soul of a dear and holy priest who brought the Good News of WWME to many couples in the Solomon Islands.
