The Zimbabwe WWME Deeper Weekend

Dear Lovers, here is a short email and a photo of the couples and Sisters who attended the Deeper Weekend in Zimbabwe - which, through your generosity you helped to make possible. We are a missionary people and our families in Zimbabwe certainly appreciate all the contributions from the US that have been offered for them.

It was an exciting and memorable experience to be deepened more by sharing experiences with a team from a different country who were not on our Original Weekend.

Zimbabwe Deeper Weekend Group

The Weekend enabled us to know more about each other and how we need each other in our daily lives. At the Weekend we also managed to dialogue on issues which we previously avoided because we had developed more confidence in each other. Through group sharing we also learned that our experiences are not so unique, and that everyone else sometimes goes through the same experience. We learned that we can be better understood through dialogue.

After the Weekend we felt we should continue the journey with others and also spread the gospel about WWME. Our love has been put on a new high. We also resolved to put our love-lives, children and family first respectively.

Susan & Oswin, the presenting couple, stated, “We will do anything to protect WWME as it means a lot to our marriage, this was our greatest feeling after the Deeper Weekend.”

As promised here is a message, unfortunately not signed, from we presume a couple who attended the Deeper Weekend in Zimbabwe at which Susana & Oswin were the presenting couple. On the photo we can recognise the team priest, he is Fr. Simon Kunda, and we know him as he is the actual National Team Priest for Zambia.

In their name we thank the US WWME for having contributed to make this Weekend happen.
