Dan & Kathy Dahlkemper
Both as individuals and as a couple, Dan & Kathy have contributed
in many ways over their 24 years of marriage. They've been involved
at their parish, St. Jude Church; dedicated to WWME for over 13
years; frequently volunteered at the schools of their five children;
developed and manage the Lake Erie Arboretum (LEAF) at Frontier
Park, Erie; work together in their landscape architecture business;
and have served on numerous committees and boards both locally and
on the state level, including Kathy's membership on the Board of
Trustees of the Erie Community Foundation, and Dan as a Board member
of the Governor's Residence Preservation Committee, Harrisburg,
PA.
The award was presented during the Annual Catholic Charities Ball.
During their acceptance, Dan & Kathy first lovingly thanked
their own parents (all present) for their examples of giving back
to the community. Then they thanked their children for their patience.
They concluded by specifically crediting WWME as the reason they
are happy and successful in all of their projects. Without the love
and understanding support of one another, they could not do all
that they do. Then they made a passionate invite to all attending
to go to a WWME Weekend!
Congratulations, Dan & Kathy! We love you, Mark & Joyce
