Celebrating a Rite of Passage
Tony & Cathy Witczak
Yeraldin Quinteros, office assistant for Worldwide Marriage Encounter,
recently became a United States citizen. She was born in Sinaloa,
Mexico, but came to this country in 1987. Yeraldin grew up bilingual,
and she is currently working towards her Masters of Science degree
in Educational Counseling at California State. She still manages
to devote about forty hours a week to help Sharon Brooks keep things
running smoothly at the WWME National Office in San Bernardino,
California. When Yeraldin took her oath as a citizen on March 22,
2007, there were 5000 others professing their loyalty to this country
also. Sharon went with her, but had to sit in another section of
the convention center. The process to become a citizen involved
filling out a ten page application, paying the $400 application
fee, and passing a civil test, and a personal interview.
Congratulations, Yeraldin!
