News Flash
June 6, 2004
Thank you to all who have been visiting eMatrimony.org.
We are sending this email to you because either you, or someone
who loves you, asked us to send you updates about eMatrimony.
If you have not yet visited eMatrimony.org,
please do so. If you are bilingual in Spanish, be sure to click
on the link Versión en Español
at the top of the home page to see the wonderful work the Spanish-speaking
sections are doing with eMatrimony.org/Spanish.
We (Jack & Karen) were faced with a decision
about sending this News Flash today or waiting until there was more
content to report. It has been our intent to send a News Flash every
three weeks and to incorporate a listing of the articles published
since the last News Flash. The reality is in the past three weeks
we have submitted two articles instead of the preferred nine or
more. We could list all of the reasons we did not take time to submit
more articles, but realize most people understand busy and over-committed.
We could have tried to flood eMatrimony
with articles and sent the News Flash next week hoping no one would
notice the schedule had slipped. But, we decided it more within
our values in Worldwide Marriage Encounter to share our weaknesses
and ask forgiveness.
We ask you, our readers, will you please forgive
us for not fulfilling our obligation to you to provide new material
for eMatrimony
over the past three weeks? We also ask for your prayers that we
will be able to better manage our time.
You could help us by sending articles about what Worldwide
Marriage Encounter is doing in your area, how WWME has affected
your relationship, any dialogue topics that have helped you in your
relationship or about the Convention or other WWME activities in
your Area or Section this summer. Please send articles to
New articles include:
· Under News, an article
about the first Weekend
in Alaska in four years, and a reprint of a November 1978 Worldwide
Spirit magazine article telling of how
the Weekend was introduced in Germany. Both articles tell of
how one or two couples can change the world where they live. You
can make a difference if you have a dream and you believe. Your
chances for success are improved when you work like everything depends
on you and pray like everything depends on God.
When you visit eMatrimony
please remember to check our prayer Intentions
& Requests. Our family relies on your prayers when they
ask us to include their special intentions.
Help eMatrimony
to grow!
