Rosary Challenge

Jose & Marilyn Garcia and Father Len Stegman, the Section 10 Coordinators, issued an invitation to all Section Coordinators to pray the Rosary asking the Blessed Mother to continue to bless Worldwide Marriage Encounter. Some in WWME have adopted Mary as the patron saint of Worldwide Marriage Encounter as might have seemed obvious from the beautiful banners at the last two National Conventions.

Jose & Marilyn and Fr. Len issued the challenge at the Secretariat meeting October 25, 2003 and it was the consensus of the nineteen Section Coordinators that Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM, local time in each time zone, would be the target time for all to offer the Rosary. The hope is that all Catholic Marriage Encounter couples and priests will join in this challenge. Worldwide Marriage Encounter’s mission of building the church could not be better served than by having the Blessed Virgin Mary intercede for us.

Please set aside each Wednesday evening at 6:30 PM to join the WWME family in offering a Rosary. If you can gather others in your community to join you please do so. If this is not possible please try to gather your own families to pray this powerful prayer together. If Wednesday evenings do not work for you then please choose another time but join in offering your petitions for growth of WWME and your gratitude for the many marriages enhanced by the Weekend. Keep in mind our priests and the blessings they are to us. We are in need of priests to help present our Weekend and possibly this prayer can be granted to us if we but ask.
