| Priests's Corner - Support & Appreciation A Reminder to Affirm Your Local Priests Rafa & Patty Ramírez Dear Lovers, We are sending you this short message because we think it is necessary to let all priests in our communities, encountered and not-encountered know that we love them. We are challenging you to share this message with all encountered couples, asking them to visit their local parish priest, and thank them for all the things they do for us and for our church. Let your priest know that you love them, tell them that you are praying for them, assure them in their Sacrament, and let them know the importance of their Sacrament in supporting our Marriage Sacrament and all the church. Let them know our thankfulness while they are consecrating Christ’s body and blood in each Eucharistic celebration. Offer yourselves as volunteers in your parishes as lecturers, ministers, taking forth the offerings or simply by giving a warm welcome to all parishioners attending mass every Sunday, thus, giving testimony of Christ’s love, through your renewed love… your Marriage Encounter lifestyle. Invite all WWME couples to share with their priests the warmth of their home and their love as a couple. Affirm your priests after they have had a long work day in their parishes. A couple of days ago a priest touched our hearts when, with a broken voice, he shared with us having felt very special when a Marriage Encounter Couple invited him to dinner at their home after he had a busy Sunday full of activities at church. The invitation was a small and simple token, but an invaluable gift. Our WWME Mission invites us to “Renewal in the Church and Change in the World,” let’s go and change our priests and bishops as well. Let’s continue praying for each other, so our love becomes more visible to those around us. Jesus would be proud of us while seeing that “We love each other as He loved us.” Let’s not be indifferent, let’s do it now….ONCE A DAY.
